While working at CSI Creative, we were approached by a construction company to help develop a new identity that conveyed stability, power and strength. In order to achieve these goals, I chose the motif of a lion within a shield. Along with conveying stabilityand strength, the lion also conveys leadership,
The flowing nature of the lion's mane was meant to give the impression that the lion was forged from flame. A colour-scheme of charcoal and orange was chosen to help support this, while the use of orange also helps to tie the brand to the construction industry. The end result is a strong and powerful, yet modern and clean brand that has longevity in the construction marketplace.
