Verde & Co
Verde and Company served high-end chocolates, pastries, lunches, coffees and teas to the surrounding financial crowd in the Bishopsgate area of London. The owner, Harvey Cabbanis, approached me with a request to design their menu with the goal of making clear their complicated sizing system and to display the vast number the teas on offer. I aimed to showcase the whimsy and high-end nature of his shop. In addition to the complex lunch and tea menus, I created a simplified menu for breakfast options.
Having noticed the work I had done on Verde's menus, I was approached by the owner of Amore & Company to create a hand-painted shop front display. I hoped to both honour the surrounding character of Spitalfields Market and also stand out from other chain restaurants in the area. In addition to the exterior signage, I worked on interior menu and sandwich boards.
