Ruxton Village
Working alongside rareEarth Project Marketing, this was the first major project I helped build from the ground up. As project art-director, I controlled the design direction and implemented multiple facets of the project brand, which sold out within a month. Along with creating the logo based on an artichoke, I created everything from floorplans to a self-illustrated site map, to fence and marketing signage, online and print ads, marketing brochures, feature sheets and folders, website design, business cards and thank-you cards.
As lead designer and art director I was tasked with designing and implementing the permanent entry way signage. Taking into account budgetary restraints and project timelines, each part of project went through several draft iterations before reaching the final design. It's something special to be a part of a physical development where residents can take pride in where they live.
